i have a 2010 JD 5105M (105hp). will i be able to use this shredder or is my tractor a little underpowered? also, does anyone have experience with the woods' line or shredders? from the little bit ive looked into rotary cutters, woods has caught my eye the most.

my tractors hp rating falls within the range listed on their site but its on the low end is why i ask. also, do i need 3 hydraulic hookups in the rear to be able to raise one wing at a time and still raise the deck separately? seems like you need one line to raise the deck and then one for each wing. i only have 2 on my tractor right now

The JD 5105 is rated at 90 HP on the PTO, which should be more than enough to run a heavy 15' batwing. Might have to slow down a little if you are mowing real heavy grass or something like Bahia. I have a nephew that is running a medium 15' batwing with a JD 5075 (60 PTO HP) and it seems to do ok.

I have no experience with Woods, so I can't say anything good or bad about them.

Sorry forgot the hyd question. If you are wanting to be able to raise each wing independently and raise the deck via hydraulics, then yes you'd need three remotes. In looking at the brochure on the Woods website, it doesn't look like the height control is hydraulic, unless they've got it hidden.
