Anyone have any expirene with Wood Equipment company FELs?

I am looking at one for my T1110, NH wants $4500 Woods $2500... looks like the same design. I am using my Loader control valve (NH) and looking at Woods mountign and loader.

Thanks

Woods makes very good equipment. I put a Woods loader on my Kubota L3130, it speced the same as the Kubota 700 series loader and was about half the cost. I saved enouugh on the Woods loader to buy a set of forks. I have cleared land, pushed and hauled trees with it and never had an issue. It was a good match for my tractor.

Some will argue that you should stay with the OEM equipment. But I my area you see a lot of loaders, Woods, Quickie, and Bush Hog on different tractors.

I don't think you will go wrong with the Woods Loader.

MD09, I have a Woods 1020 on my NH TN65, and love it. It is the quick attach and works well. I think a lot of Woods equipment. They make a good product. You can get medium duty and Heavy duty, what ever your budget can stand. I have some of each and would do each again, if needed. The loader was new and came with the TN, and I have had it about 6 years. No problems. If I am not carefully I will pick up the rear end of the tractor with it. I think you will be well satisfied with the woods. Big seller in my area.

MD09,
I have a Woods 102C, I believe that is the right model #, on a CASEIH D40 and am really pleased with it. Mine is the quick attach style.

Thanks Guys,
The loader is now on order and should be in next week.

Next project figure out a mounting system for my Dozer blade for winter work. Figure I need an aux hydro connection and control valve. I do nto think my Control valve (NH) has a power beyond port as it only has 6 lines/connection on it. NH has a aux hydro valve that will install on my 1110 just need to come up with some lines to the front of the bucket.

Cheers

I also like Woods equipment. (Brush Bull, Blade, Box Scraper, Post Hole digger).
Besides the equipment accessories, I have a woods loader on my 1520, which I bought in 1988. Great Loader, solid, well built..

New loader is in and on the tractor. Fit and finish is very good and ease on assembly/installation was 5 of 5. The only thing I had to do was modify the NH mount for the loader control valve and weld it to the new Woods mount. Welding was easier than manufacturing a bolt on Mount.

Tried it out in the yard and am very happy with the selection. The big project starts nex week....

Cheers

PS it is almost a perfect color match to the Tractor.

I went to get a loader for my TN 75 and my dealer said he would order it, but he suggested I look at a NH 3010 that he was selling on consignment for another customer. It had 150 hours on it...paint a little dull because left out in the sun...but....the tractor with the Woods loader was almost the same price as ordering a NH loader. My thinking was a man can never have too many guns or tractors, so I tried it and it works great. Not quite as much horsepower or weight as the TN 75, but that has presented no problem. Still has plenty of power. I have had it a couple of years with no problems at all. I spent 8 hours on it today over at my church scooping up limbs and trash. I have used it A LOT and could not be happier. I also have a Woods 6 foot Roto Tiller and it has been great also. One hint....hide it from all but your best friends because everyone wants to borrow it.

Update on the new FEL. Had to fab a mount for the NH loader control valve that worked out well, also had to adjust the mounting location for the Piping so as to not have to bend it anymore.

Performance, Outstanding. First major job was building a new flower bed in front of the house, silly little job? not so. Bed is 5 feet wide and in total 45feet long. Had to carve out the clay that passes for soil in these parts the FEL worked flawlessly and moved some 5+ yards of the stuff. One bucket at a time was not the most efficent way to go but it beats a had shovel and a wheel barrow.
Next came 5+ tons of wall stone dry stacked. Loaded the bucket with as much as it would carry... stack and repeat....

Last part was moving 15+ yards of screened topsoil. the bucket was overloaded each time to the point of almost lifting the tractor rear off the ground. Attached the king kutter 60" tiller for ballast and problem solved.

This little project took 3 days all totalled and with out this little mule and it's loader it would have taken much, much longer.

Had to remove several overgrown bushes as well, strapped a line around the base of each bush and hooked to the FEL and just rolled and lifted each out. Geat work saver.

Can't wait until the next project begins.

Cheers:laughing:
