I don't have the 7000, but I have a 9000 on a Kubota 3130 which is on the lower end of the recommended hp. So I guess I am in a similiar situation, only on a somewhat bigger scale. The Woods backhoes, like most of the better ones out there, have enough power to do damage to your tractor if you are really careless. That being said, it seems to me that Woods is in the business of selling implements to hang on someone else's tractor and has a vested interested in those implements working well with the tractor it is mated to. As a result, they do extensive engineering to figure what is an appropriate sized tractor. In my case, the 9000 with subframe is an excellent match to the 3130. In fact, I chose the Woods over the Kubota BH. Do I think I could damage my tractor with the 9000? I'm pretty sure I could, but that would probably mean operating it improperly. If your tractor is within the specifications recommended by Woods and you opt for the subframe of course, then you should be OK. I would strongly recommend you talk to your Woods dealer and see what he thinks. He probably has some factory training and has seen the 7000 on a number of smaller machines. If he thinks it is OK, then go for it.
