Landpride RCR1872 has worked great. Haven't owned any Woods products though.
I have a 6 foot Landpride that has done well. I haven't had any other brand, so I can't comment on which is better. I've had to replace my gear box, my stump jumper and liked that I was able to get parts quickly and easily. Their online parts diagrams are very helpful. Messicks has great prices, so I just go to their page to order what I need. Kubota also sells Landpride, so there is good dealer support there too. I don't have a Kubota, but have had a good experience there when working on my rotary cutter. My biggest issue is the tail wheel. It bent fairly quickly, and when I bought a new replacement, it bent just as quickly. I ended up buying a much bigger wheel and fabricated a stronger way to mount it then what Landpride did and haven't had any issues since then. When I buy again, Landpride will be at the top of my list to choose from, but I'll still look at other brands. All of my repairs are from how badly I use it, I'm pretty bad and I'm surprised that I've only had to replace the gear box once!!!
