It's snowing here again-a lot-I am going to buy a snow blower.

I just found this 120 miles south of me. It's 4 or 5 years old.

What do you think I should pay for it?

Can I use my WR Long valve kit and hoses (ran to the back of the tractor) to power the hydraulic chute? I use the valve kit to power my bucket grapple but since the snow has come I took the grapple and hoses off my tractor for the winter.

Woods model SS60 3 point hitch snowblower. Stored inside. Hydraulic chute. Good Shape. $1700 OBO

I don't see any reason why not. If it will run your grapple it will have more then enough power to turn the shute.

I have high-confidence that it will work just fine. I use the Long set-up for my bucket grapple, and also for the power-angle cylinders on my Curtis snowplow.

Instead of connecting back at the valve location, I installed "bulkhead" connections (Long has the bracket and connections) on the cross tube at the front of the loader. It makes connect/disconnect a 10 second job.

You could probable find a location (to do similar) at the rear for the blower.

Thanks guys. He will sell it for $1420 delivered to a meet-me point half way for both of us. It will take 120 miles off my round trip so I think I will buy it. A new Buhler, Meteor or Argo Trend in 60" will cost me US$1895 + tax so I figure this is a good enough deal for me.

Now I see that it has the hydraulic cjute assembly and that is not a cheap add on to any of the blowers so it really does make it a good deal. My Kubota dealer also sells the Meteor and they wanted around 1900 and it was a manual chute. I would say hurry up and get it.
