Woods toothbar $ at dealer seems awful high

I had my dealer check for a price on a woods toothbar I have a Woods HD 72" bucket with bolt on edge. Dealer parts man says $499.00 + shipping /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif for a woods HD? toothbar I only need it for one season ( new house lot ). Markham won't fit with a bolt on edge. I'm just concerned with having to send one back that doesn't fit. Anyone out there have a woods toothbar that can help me with some info? thanks /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The TB40735 Woods toothbar is designed to fit bucket widths from 71 7/8 to 72 1/4, and is designed to fit buckets with or without bolt on edges.
The price on the bar is $450.00 plus a $45.00 steel charge, plus freight.
The price you were quoted by your local dealer is as good as you will find on a Woods toothbar that size.

I just bought a 53" Bolt on from Markham Welding. I think they charged me $158 plus freight, something like $220 or 230 delivered. Arrived in just a few days from the point I ordered it. Happy with the quality too!

A cheaper option may be to order the Markham Toothbar, and remove the bolt-on edge when you want to put the toothbar on. I realize it's more work to bolt and unbolt 2 items, but if you figure that you'll put the toothbar on for weeks or more at a time, then it's not that big of a deal. Just something to think about.
