Woods TS/60 Tiller PTO clutch

Not having looked at it before I let all the smoke out I'm not even sure it had clutch disks, seems like it should though....... I've taken it apart and there are no disks left if they were ever in there. It really looks like it was metal to metal.

The Woods diagram shows there should be some in there. Nearest Woods dealer is 50 miles away so it will be cheaper to have them shipped in. Where can I order them online?

Woods was no help. I'm not paying 33 bucks for something I can get from many suppliers for 8 to 10. I wound up simply measuring what the disk should be and searched for a bit to find some within a few millimeters. 22 bucks for both shipped.

What are they thinking?


I'd like to add.... to the guy at woods that was responding to my emails..... Read he **** things dude. I specifically told you I cooked the disks clean out of it, no trace except for black dust. TWICE! Adjusting wasn't going to do anything. I even sent pictures and the idiot didn't get it.

Feel your pain.... Seems the folks hired to help with a technical issue were hired by folks who do not have a clue. You should have 'taught' their employee what he was dealing with! Too much of this today; the people who should know don't know and the people who are responsible for that person could care less. You did right, just got side tracked a bit!
