I have a chance to purchase a Woods / Gill turf renovator the units called a 20A900 and was manufactured back in the late 80's. The unit is the same as the current production model TR72 Turf Renovator. I have this question for the board! Has anyone ever used this piece of equipment or it's newest model called the TR72. I have been told it's for turf aeration and preparing the ground for seed in established lawns. I use a Roberts Jacobson 548 power seeder now and will continue to use it to over seed. The 20A900 is different from the new model in that you can adjust the three point hitch on the renovator to angle the rollers to make them more aggresive and open up the ground more. The older model is also used to break up bare dirt for seed. So how about it, anyone know about the older model or use of the new model. Scaper
