Well, I think you built it rugged enough.

What sort of work do you intend to do using that setup?

Beautiful job. Lots of storage space above and below the bench, built solid, and looks great. I especially like the drawer frames built with 2x4s. You do nice work.

Makes me feel guilty for buying a Tennsco workbench for my new garage but at least it was made in America.

Travlitt,
I think there is no other bench this well constructed here on TBN,
You are a master, no doubt...
Looks like you might have had extra 2x4 steel from your building construction.
Thanks for the pics, gives us all something to strive towards.

Thanks for the compliments
Yes, Dan,I did have some left-over steel from my shop and another job that I built for another man. After some consideration, I decided to build a work bench.
I have always built things to last at least my life time. I also enjoy doing finish wood work.
My wife and I built this during the cold days that we could not do things out side. We enjoy doing things together. That bench will be put to good use.
Have a great day.

There was another guy who built one out of plate steel and I-beams I think. It looked like he could park his tractor on the thing and it wouldn't flinch. I would have to agree that yours sets the bar very high.
