Hi folks,
I decided to add rear work lights to my TD29DA, but didn't want to use the factory kit.
After fruitless searching on line for the SAE-like two-conductor rear-work light connectors fitted to the factory harness - they have extended pins with extra insulation to create a weatherproof seal - I hacked mine off and used ordinary SAE connectors, the type commonly used on motorcycles and Battery Tender cables.
HOWEVER:
About a month later, I came across the CORRECT style of connectors in a marine supply store - they are sold as TROLLING MOTOR connectors, and as such also have a generous wire gauge.
I hope this helps others avoid the pain of unnecessary surgery
