Ordered work lights (front&rear) for the 2305 about 6 weeks ago and still waiting...back ordered I guess? Not that I have time to go down there now, but my FIL might want to use it. Other than that things are going well. Fitz /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My dealer told me the lights are "on hold" so either the first shipment of lights from China failed or the boat sank /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I got the 2305 Forward facing lights + Brush guard kit (Needed to mount them). They work fine but the harness they came with was incorrect - It had a 'Y" splitter that I had to re-solder. I think it's probably a universal thing but basically one of the wires I needed a male/female plug on instead of MM/FF in order for it to work. If I hooked it up with the un-altered harness (You'll immediately notice the shift in wiring to the lights if you do this) the forward lights 'blinked' when the lights and blinkers were on. After I resoldered (flipped around the connector) things are fine. Maybe it was just my kit but I did run into it.

Note also that they claim the rear lights are incompatible with the forward lights (I think due to the mounts, possibly maybe electrical load requirements).

Also, I think they might give you the same sort of hookup for the rear facing lights. I put on a 55 watt rear work light (Not JD). I Welded a tab (1/4" steel with a mounting hold in) it dead center on the back of the top of the ROPS bar to mount it - Gives me a nice high mount for lot's of light coverage in the rear. What's kind of neat is I plugged into the rear plug that's actually intended for the work light. One nice thing about this is that if you use this plug it isn't live when the warning flashers are on - This is good since if you drive on a road you won't be shining a light in drivers faces behind you if you are on a roadway. If you wire the rear lights into a jack off of the tail lights (How the JD forward lights work) the work light will be on all the time when the forward lights are on including when the lights and flashers are on, effectively blinding any driver coming up behind you.

The lights work really well. I've heard of issues with the lights blinding you when looking rear but I find if I look fully to the rear it's not an issue. If I were to look sideways the light is just about in my face though.
