Helped the neighbor cut a couple trees down. Here are a few pics. The trees looked much bigger on the ground.

I think the dog is unhappy about losing that tree. I wonder why?

This is my neighbors house and we had a good day and the Kubota performed well. we hooked a chain to each tree over half way to the top and pulled tension while we cut the tree to pull them away from the house. Then we used the L4400 to pile it all up for areally big hot dog roast after it dries.

I hope your cable was longer than the height of the tree.:D I see that my ex Bota should feel at home with "his" new home in the hills. It probably would have done the job or at least LB will say it would.:)

The chains were at least 1.5 times the height of the tree and were hooked up high. I didn't want to end up on u tube and embarrass myself in public (I do it often enough privately). The Little BX1500(John Thomas trade in) is performing very well as expected I tell you John that is the best hillside mower it fits my need very well. I talked to Brady (Barlow Tractor) yesterday about a used grapple that he has. I have plans to build one but I am talking to him about the used one that is on a L4400 in their used inventory. I will post about it if Nd when I get it. I told him that I had talked to you here on TBN, small world isn't it?

Be VERY careful when working around electrical lines. The pole seems to be leaning towards your kubota. Looked scary from the picture. Electrical energy has no mercy. GREAT PICTURES

That was the reason for cutting the trees down but we were working and pulling away from the power lines. Thanks for the complement on the pics.
