We were out on the ranch today having a ball building a culvert crossing and general cleanup. My little MF 1240 did a fine job. Its amazing how much you can do with a small tractor if you take your time. Of special interest was how well the loaded R-1's performed. We just irragated and I was soooo glad to have those chuncky ag tires. Got a little sloppy, but never even came close to being stuck.

We have a huge pile of rubble, maybe 30 yards, that is gonna be just a little much for the brave MF, so next week we're renting a Case 580 and dump truck. Lil red will just have to watch /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is the back side of our place. It really amazes me what 28 hp and 4WD can do. This year I'll be mowing about 21 acres as well as a 1500' driveway grading/construction and general light duty ranch stuff. My neighbor just got a Kubota B something about the same size as my MF and he too is tickeled with that size machine. I think its the 4WD that really makes these little tractors shine. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
