Funny you mention herding...before I started "working the flock"...I always threw corn on the flat along the river bank...I use a golf cart to take the feed down...both the ducks and the turkeys think the golf cart is the ice cream truck...I often felt like a "herder" in the cart with the ducks and turkeys leading and following it around...

when i used to feed lots of cattle off of a cart pulled by a tractor, i used to get a bit nervous..... 300 head of cows converging on my cart. its a bit intimidating at times.


I guess the same can't be said about a covey of birds...haha then again... i guess they could gang up and poke my eyes out

I would worry more about the long spiked spur on the back of the legs of the TOMS. They can do damage.
