My FIL bought a Workmaster 55 with FWA and FEL loader back in the summer and has a about 80hrs on it now. The issue he has with it is the standard telescopic 3ph ends are to wide to fit the hitch pins on a dandy set of 2X14 Ferguson plows. Is there a set of replacement 3ph ends available that are narrower? The pins on the plows are to short(made for the old 8n narrow lift arms) the workmasters are to wide and there is no room to secure it with a lynch pin. Many help

You could go to your local Tractor supply and see what lenght the ' normal pins ' they sell are, and if that would help you. Not to hard, or too expensive to change the pins.. :)

You may also have to grind the flat portions of the ball hitches to make them a bit narrower. This is especially true of the toplink ball-end. I have three older implements that are all too narrow for my standard New Holland Cat 1 toplink ball widths. A grinder can modify that problem so that it fit without causing any problem with implements that are a bit wider.

Thanks guys for the response guys. The pins on the plows are not replacable, it's the old style Ford/Ferguson style that you turn to set the right or left pull of the plow. They are cast/forged in piece. I could grind the telescopic ends but I'm at grinding 1/2 to 3/4 in on each arm, a bit much.

Can you take a pic of them? I have the red version and have not had this issue and am curious if the hitch ends are different for some reason. If I have a chance I will try to take a pic of mine tomorrow and post it.

Would it be possible for you to cut off the pins on the plow and drill holes to mount new pins in? Maybe a pic of the plow will be helpful as well.

The new Holland website says this tractor has a Cat II hitch convertible to Cat I. I suspect that the arms have the Cat II ends on them right now and that is why they don't fit a plow with Cat I ends.
