Hello everyone! I bought a ym1900 with a 2TR17 motor in it and looking for some help. The service manual I bought to work on the tractor is being returned due to poor illustration picture quality so I am looking for another one. So where is a good place to get a good copy? Should i get a PDF or a printed one? Thanks

Welcome to the forum. :welcome: I am assuming the manual you are sending back was for a US sold Yanmar. What models did it cover? Not for sure which manual would be the best for your 1900. Guessing the 240 manual?
Thanks for the welcome Winston! The manual was a Ym195 from Hoye. From my reading and talking to others I think you can use a YM195 or a YM240 maybe? Just want to make sure it covers the 2TR17 motor. That is the motor they put in the YM1700 just happens to be in my YM1900..
I have found this I&T manual do be pretty good. It only has 64 pages. I doubt you find any repair manual covering the 2TR17 motor. The 195 has a 2T84A. For what it is worth many of the parts interchange between the 2000 (240) and the 1700. Same crankshaft, just different liners and pistons.

If Howe still sells it buy the YM195 service manual. That is what I used to rebuild my YM 1700. (The YM1700 equivalent. I could not have done it without it. Buy it
He just returned that manual.
