Hi All,
I'm Steve from 25 miles East of London, England.
I trained in electronics and have worked in electronic repair and IT for many years. Recently I decided that this was not for me, I'm too old to keep up with all the software changes and the hardware is worth pennies, besides it was boring me to death.
So, I've decided to make a go of downsizing, working close to home instead of a 25 mile commute, and doing something I enjoy. Namely, forestry.
I've always loved the woods, so I've bought a very well planted 18 acre woodland and am starting to produce wood fencing products and charcoal.
My interest is not in conventional agri tractors but in smaller low-impact forestry vehicles and sawmills / processors. I look forward to learning a lot about fabricating log-splitters and more.
