Would like a Thunderbird fiberglass canopy for my Ferriz zeroturn

I was thinking of getting a Rhinohide canopy for my Ferris but now am looking at the Thunderbird TX4 fiberglass canopy. On Wiedmann bros website(they sell only to dealers) it is listed at $289. On the Thunderbird website it lists at $459, big difference. Anyone know of a good website to be a middleman and have this drop-shipped?

This place has the canopy for the price you wanted, $289. You will need to select a mounting kit for your machine. At $170 the kits seem rather expensive. Perhaps you could fabricate your own for much less.

Your link above is for Thunderbird. Turns out Wiedmann bros. and Thunderbird are one and the same. I spoke with one of the bros. yesterday and he was very helpful and gave me options to the fiberglass canopy I would like to get. Shipping for the canopy will run $100, so the total price for the canopy and mounting kit would be $559 when ordering from the Weidmann site. And that would be shipped to a commercial shipping facility, not UPS or FedEx. I just may have to go with the abs plastic canopy instead.

I am so glad I posted my question on pricing. In going back and reading for the 20th time the description of the item I wanted, it turns out the price of $289 was JUST for the canopy and did not include the mounting system. So no matter what, the pricing is $459 for all, plus shipping of $100.

I just ordered the Thunderbird fiberglass canopy, I paid full list. Oh well. I will post in this forum, under a new heading, when I get it installed.
