I have been borrowing a friend of mine's walk behind tiller for my medium sized garden (about 40x80) but he lives kind of far away and it's not that easy to get all of the time. I picked up a 2-bottom plow that I was going to resell, but am thinking of putting it to use. I want to plow the garden but I don't have a disc so I was thinking of using a gill pulverizer over the plowed soil. How would this work, I have never used the plow before but I think after I figure it out it may turn out to be more useful than I originally thought.

would try to get a spring tooth drag or a cultivator. I know a few people who plow and use just those for follow up passes, or even just the cultivator.

I definitely would think that would work better, but I was just trying to use what I already have if I can make it work. I wasn't sure if anyone had ever tried this. I suppose I could just test it and if it doesn't work I could still get that tiller and go over it with that.
