WR Long valve on JD 3X20 mounting?

Guys-

I have decided to go with the WR Long Valve Kit to add the ability to control a Millonzi 48"LD grapple. The kit I want is the electric/hydraulic kit that allows full bucket function(curl dump etc) simultaneously with grapple control. Has anybody documented the installation of this specific valve kit on a CUT? Or, even better, has anybody documented this install on a Deere 3X20 series CUT?

I want to do it myself, but have never messed with hydraulics. I am hoping that someone can show me pics of the process or at least explain it to me step by step. I plan to order the kit next week and would like to make sure I get everything I need the first time, so once I start installing I wont have to stop and order additional parts. Any tips or info on this specific install or general advice on something like this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Whick KIT is that?

If you want simultaneous control of both Curl/Dump and Grapple, I think you need an add-on hydraulic valve. The typical elec/hydr. kit that most folks use, is the one that uses a diverter/selector valve that electrically switches between the two functions.

I'm not saying that one doesn't exist, that you mentioned above, I'm just trying to distinguish between the one I know of, and the one you are describing.

W R Long makes both a diverter and electric/hydraulic control. The electric/hydraulic contorl can not be used on some tractors (Kioti CK 30 is one) because they use banjo connectors. I think both can be used on the John Deeres. The kits are custom made for the make and model tractor you have and come complete with all mounting brackets, connectors and hose to complete the setup.
Give them a call and they can give you more information. That is a very good setup for your tractor. A little green paint and it will look like it was done in the factory.

I have already spoken to WR Long. The way I understand it, their Electric over hydraulic valve kit allows full function plus control of grapple.

This is a picture of my W R Long Valve on a J D 990 I don't even think it needs any Green paint for a factory look.

I think you are referring to a 3rd function valve. Hence the name. Rather than diverting a curl or lift function it provides a separate function on it's own. It splices in the PB line leaving the loader function valve.
