What's the deal with parts houses all having big application books with WRONG crossover numbers.
My NH 7610s went down in the field yesterday ( fuel filters plugged up ), and I was simply too far away from a NH dealer to go get filters. I called car quest and NAPA.. neither could cross over the NH filte rnumber, but both had application books that listed the NH 7610s.. the number NAPA pulle dup crossed over to the number carquest pulled up.. I thought I was in business.. NOPE.. the filter they both show as the correct fuel filter for my tractor is not the correct one.
Doesn't someone get paid to put CORRECT info in those application books? or do they just set and stare at a crystal ball when they plug that info in???
