Good evening,
I am interested in purchasing a tractor. I do not have a lot of extra cash, but do have the mechanical ability to fix one. So hopefully this will make my dream come true.
Things I'm looking for; 4x4(not required), loader(not required), has to have pto and 3ph. Looking for basic problems like bad clutch, bad tires, leaks, blown head gasket, and just flat out ugly. I have been raiding Craigslist the last few weeks. Found some pretty good stuff, but want to see if there is anything better before spending the money.
I would prefer a John Deere. Something like a 650/750/850/1050 The bigger the better. I am not afraid of old.
Next in line would be Kubota. A B6100 is the smallest I would want. Really needs to be 4x4, but I don't guess I get everything I want..
As posted above I am in the Houston Tx area, Cleveland to be specific.
Thanks for any help.
