We had another 6 inch snowfall the other night. Though it wasn't completely necesary I went out in the dark to clear the driveway before going to work. It is only my second winter with the little guy and haven't done any mods on her at all yet. First mod; REAR LIGHT!!!!!!!!!! Rigged it up quick in 20 minutes using a spade connector to plug into the rear light connection. fished a wire up through the roll bar and out the hole inside of the left flasher. used the existing flasher mounting bolt to attach the utility light base to the inside of the ROPS. Grounded the ground wire to the mounting bolt. Viola! instant rear light. I know I will have to redo it sometime using proper soldered connections and heat shrink tubing, but I'm set for this winter. Maybe I will lavish upon it a cab and a snowblower someday.

mego,

Can't see the light in the pic, but your grin is sure reflecting a lot of light! Be careful, it can freeze that way! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

the picture was not intended to demonstrate my installation merely to demonstrate the winterness of the situation. from last year anyway. sorry I do not have a digital camera to show the new light. imagine if you will a black 4 inch light facing rearward next to the flasher. it looks like it belongs. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Looks like you're having fun... I'm apparently in the minority here because I don't mind leaving my little tractor sitting in it's cozy garage /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I'd prefer to peak into my garage every now and then to see a nice clean green machine rather than sitting on it after a fresh snow... don't get me wrong, it makes the job a little more fun. But cold is cold and I'd rather be on the golf course. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Have a great winter!
