Price Check X-Series 4x4 release and pricing

Has anyone seen an anticipated release date for the John Deere X595 or other X-Series 4x4 subcompacts? Any idea on pricing? On found a little information under some of the Kubota threads, but nobody seems to know when they will be released and or how much they will cost. I'm wondering if the diesel will be comparable to the Kubota BX2200.

The latest I have heard is April/May timeframe for retail orders only.

What have you heard on pricing and features? It looks like a rear 3-point hitch is not included???

From what I hear, the 3PH and rear PTO are options fro the 5XX series. Unlike the 4XX series, the 3PH on the 5XX is a Cat 1 not a Cat 0. I have not heard any valid discussion of pricing. Deere will probably price the 5XX in the range of the 4XX series. It may be a tough choice between the high-end 5XX and the 4010/4015 for serious users. Again, this is just a guess but the 5XX series will probably prove to be a slightly lighter and more nimble mowing/estate machine and the 4010/4015 will suit those who do more loader and landscaping work. The decks and loader will probably be heavier and more expensive for the 4X1X.

Bottom line: see, touch, taste, smell and ride them side by side to be sure. Hard to be patient, ain't it?

Bigpete, I think you probably mean the 4010 and the 4110 and the 4115. I think the 4010 is smaller than the 4110 and 4115, smaller engine, less HP, hopefully someone gets the specs so we can really tell. The 4115, appears to be using a bigger engine than the 4110, and it uses the "direct injection" instead of the "indirect injection". Interestign differences. Had I seen these models before I purchased I may have waited and got a 4010, instead of the 4100, I bought. Oh well, at least I got 2 more HP!

Yup. I meant 4110. Most of my post is conjecture and I hope a dealer will step in and give us all a little more "fact" with my guesses.

You should have no regrets about the 4100. Buyers remorse is about the most sinister and dangerous disease, second only to Gottahavabiggertractoritis. I keep driving by my dealer, eye-balling the 4100 HST he has had sitting on the lot for about a year. I'm not buying up until next Fall/Winter, but if he can't sell that thing by the time the 4X10s arrive, I may try to "steal" it from him. (I'm not contemplating larceny--just want to help him avoid more interest payments by asking him to reduce his profits on the unit just a bit. He made a scrunched-up funny face when I suggested this to him. Don't know why? /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif )

Yep, I went from a GT225 to a 4100! I had "Gottahavabiggertractoritis", real bad. Yes I saw the JDLawns website, and those procies are definitely nice.
