X300 vs X340 vs X500

I would go with a sub-compact...(Kubota BX, Deere 1000 series..etc...)

Don't waste your time and money on a "lawn tractor"...Been there...

For what you are doing the X500 is all you need. You'll love it!

Thanks again for everyone's help. Friend of a friend passed this link along to me and I was thinking about driving out to take a look (Yanmar YM1500 w/ ~900 hours.) Seems to get good reviews and even though it needs deck/plow/tires I was hoping I would also be able to save some $ over the x500/x700.

Yanmar 1500 is a nice little tractor but it isn't comparable to a x700 series or any other modern mower.
