x320 possible to fit 42 inch deck

i own a 2006 x320, is it at all possible to fit 42 inch 2 blade deck to this mower, did see one on tractor so equiped, could any one help

Yes. Were you buying a new or used deck? Given the choice I'd get the newer Accel deck.

I would think that this should be just plug and play so to speak. I base this on an X300 that can run either a 42 or 48, and if I recall the front and rear draft arms are the same. The two have the same frame. The reason I suggested the Accel deck is it seems to be a better build than the earlier 42". If you are buying new, check with the dealer on the whole goods side rather than parts. You may find someone did something silly and removed a 42 and hung a 38 on it and they have one on the back lot somewhere. Buying used you should be OK. Take the info from both the donor machine and yours and compare the front and rear arms on JDPC John Deere - Parts Catalog
