My X475 pto switch won't stay on/engaged. I have to hold it up to keep the mower deck running. If I pull on it and twist it a little, it will stay on but the next time I go in reverse (holding the pto switch up) when I go forward most times the switch will not keep the pto engaged.
1- Seems like maybe the pto switch should be replaced?
2- If so, is there a trick to remove it from the dashboard? I can't seem to squeeze the tabs from the under side to pop it out.
3- How do I adjust the parking brake, that seems to take a little jostling around to disengage it, almost like the linkage has to be adjusted or tightened possibly?
Thank you!
Craig

I have to spray the mechanism once in a while to keep the parking brake release working. Looking up from below when the mower deck is off works best to see what needs some WD-40 or similar slippery stuff.
