I bought an X500 a few days ago and I've found that it rolls forward quite easily when my foot is off the pedals, and it's on any kind of a slope. I realize that most hydros creep forward on a slope, but the X500 is doing more than creeping. I would like better control when on a slope by a drop-off. Could this be improved (hold position better) with an adjustment of some kind? It holds position much better in reverse than it does going forward.

The adjustment I would suggest is appling the brake pedal. All kidding aside. You might be able adjust the pedal travel from under the tractor but I am not familiar with this tractor(used to have a x195). It may be possible to get the hydro to a "more" neutral postion.

My X595 (around 300 hrs) has the same problem, in either direction. I mentioned it to my dealer and he said it "sounds like some kind of a high-pressure pump problem" (ka-ching!! $$)
