Ok guys I sold my Z930a and picked up a bucket list garden tractor (well I wanted a X595 but my budget was too low) X585 with 850 hours. Course I broke my own rule and picked it up on a wet nasty rainy day. Once I got her home I stripped her down and cleaned her up.

I Found I was going to need a water pump. I knew going into this I would need to put some money aside for repairs so it was not a shock....just wish people were honest. I would have purchased it anyway, but if your adding coolant, there is a reason.

Now to the last little hiccup. It is slowly leaking from the parking brake housing on the trans. It is hard to get my fat head in there, I thought it would be the seal/o ring on the connecting rod going into the case but it actually appears the factory gasket is leaking. Part R in the diagram. It appears I may be able to remove the housing while the trans stays in the machine clean it up and re-seal it with gasket maker but I am not positive.
So I am asking if anyone has removed the parking brake housing while it is in the machine or am I looking at having to strip the machine and pull the transmission? If so that is going to have to wait till the fall.
