X590 Deck Lift Pedal Assembly Grease Fitting?

Anyone who owns a X590 may have also noticed this as well... The owners manual says that this model has a deck lift pedal assembly grease fitting on the left side underneath. I cannot for the life of me find it - I saw a picture of what it looks like on the X300 models and I can tell you that round joint that the owners manual shows does not have a fitting on it for my model. The X300 photo I saw had a grease fitting on it, but mine does not. Strange.

Can anyone else confirm that this model does in fact NOT have this grease fitting for the lift pedal assembly? Ive scanned every inch underneath and there is no grease fitting attached to the 1.5" round joint as shown in other photos of different models. Mine is a 2015 model. Thanks.

You have the hydraulic deck lift ?

Spanner - yes, the deck lift is hydraulic which led me to believe that this was the reason I am not seeing it, however the owners manual says there should be one there - which made it confusing to me. I thought all X590 models are the same with the hydraulic lift.

Correct. 48" & 54" mower decks. Both are hydraulic lift.

You have no Lift Pedal and as such you have no grease fitting on your non-existent pedal.

Re-read the manual. Some manuals cover more than one model variation, or you may have the wrong manual. Or it could be an error. JD make very few errors in their publications in my experience but never say never.

I'd still be keen for you to re-check the manual and advise if the reference is in a section relating to a different model or what?

I checked that section. It did not say for a specific model - it treated that section like the others for all models. There are two parts in there for the grease fittings that only apply to the 4 wheel steer models. This one was not a part of neither of those sections.

The 4WS model section is an example of what I meant when I say they include sections on models that aren't yours. One manual can cover several variations.
Oh well... At least you know you can disregard that grease fitting.
