We use our x590 to mow a large tree planting. The job involves going in and around, and around the trees to keep invasive grasses and other vegetation from choking out the trees, especially the smaller ones that are still struggling to get well-established. We've been doing this for several years without a problem, but suddenly this year we've gotten six or seven flat tires -- mostly in front, but one in the rear, too. Some of the tree species do have thorns (Hawthorns), or thorn-like spikes (e.g., plum, crabapple). My theory is that sprouts or fallen branches from these species are causing the flats (I don't know what else it could be).
I've tubed both front tires multiple times, but this morning we found another flat.
Are HDAP or industrial tires a viable option for both the front and back, and if so, from whom? Would they resist these sorts of punctures better than standard turf tires?
