Hello,
I have a x728 which is getting a 3 point hitch and box scraper in two weeks, I know its a limited category 1 hitch which after tons of research I find it can
mean its either a Cat. 0 (20 in spacing) with Cat 1 pins or It's a Cat
1 but is limited in that low profile attachments must be used (such as
the Deere L suffixed attachments) because of the limited ground
clearance. Does any one know which is correct, or is it both?
And regardless, does anyone here have a similar tractor and have
successfully used third part implements, such as the King Kutter XB
attachments? I've asked the manufacturers of some of these implements
and they don't really know if their gear will fit, they jsut say that
their "modified Cat 1" implements are Cat 1 pins with Cat 0 spacing -
and they say nothing of ground clearance.
A database of some sort would be awesome of what brand implement will work as it should with which tractor's implementation of "limited cat 1" - but that's asking too much I suppose.
Anyway, sorry to make my first post so long winded.
Mike
