I have a x-700 with just over 500 hours on it, I can be mowing along and it just quits, but it does start right back up, if I feather the choke, sometimes I can keep it going, other times it still die's, it will run for hours without doing this, or 2 to 3 times in an hour, nothing consistent, it does this without the mower deck on too, the dealer replaced a wire harness and found a lose connection on the electric fuel pump, so thought we had it, but it still does it, the fuel filter is also new and the carburetor was rebuilt by the dealer 3 maybe 4 yrs ago because of a gas leak, this problem happened a couple times last summer but became more frequent this past mowing system, any suggestions ?
I also use plastic gas cans and use high quality fuel from a reputable station, so don't think fuel contamination is problem, it is also kept in a heated shed in the winter, so shouldn't be any condensation issues. either
