XG3140
I bought an XG3140 about 3 years ago with 64 hours on it and it has been an excellent tractor. It has a front bucket and I had the Dealer install rear hydraulics on it, bought a Woods RC6 bush hog and 6 ft blade and welded me some hooks on top of the bucket for chains.
One question is when it does it's 'regen' thing is it ok to continuing to use it or let it set till it is through? Also is Super Tech Tractor Hydraulic & Transmission fluid ok for topping off? It meets the J20C specs which is what one of the local shops said was ok for the LS. Thanks for any advice.
Most of my experience has been with 60's & 70's John Deere tractors.

I have a XG3035 and yes keep using during regens (well unless you are in tall dry grass) exhaust gets hot... Keep it above 2000-2400 rpm while it does it's thing. If you need it to stop hold the regen inhibit for a few seconds.
Fluid should be OK I use Napa with that spec right now. I only have 420 hours so time will tell.

Mine has the LS 1.9 3 cylinder diesel engine, who makes this engine? Someone told me once that it was made by Doosan which makes generator engines but I have no clue.

The LS 1.9 is made by LS for their tractors.

Thanks for the info, would you be able to tell me what oil filters fit the XG3140? I used the 'search' feature on the filter section up top with no success.

SO far all I have is the LS filter..... you can get them from a New Holland dealer by adding MT in front of the part number. Works for most LS parts.

If you need to look up part numbers go to Parts - LS Tractor USA then click on "Look up your part"

I usually stick with OEM filters, but I was in O'Reilly's Auto parts getting a filter for my truck. Just to see, I asked about filters for my LS.
Sure enough, they had a long list of LS tractors in the computer data base. There were tractor models listed that haven't been produced for 10 years.
I had to order the Wix filters, but they came in 2 days later. You could try there. Also Rock Auto had LS tractor filters listed.

Is that for the LS 1.9 tier 4 motor? If so can you drop the WIX # when you get chance

I looked it up on the WIx site and they everything EXCEPT an oil filter they do show oil filter for the Tier 3 S3L2 Shibura engine.

I must have got a dim wit Counter person at the local O'Reillys as he pecked on his puter and said 'we don't carry that LS stuff'.
LS Tractor Owner, what was the Wix oil filter number for the XG3140?
