Good evening all. I know there is a post about "4WD front axle leak", but I think perhaps my issue may be different, we'll see. My XJ only has 6 hours on it, and I noticed when I pulled it out from the shed last week the front right axle looked wet, and there was the start of a puddle underneath the tire. I wiped it all down to see if I could spot anything suspicious, but didn't see anything other than hand-tightening down the blue cap on top of the axle. A few days later I got ready to use the XJ again but before I did checked the axle and fluid level. No other leaks or wetness, but I did top off the fluid from the left side red cap (with dipstick).
When I returned to the shed a couple hours later I checked it again and there were two wet "runs" from the blue cap down the axle. So it "appears" to be leaking from that check cap. Since the tractor is new I do not know if this is typical during a break-in period or I should be concerned there is something else going on. Luckily the LS dealer is great and he is only 4 miles from me, but before I took it in I thought I would ask all of you more experienced tractor drivers out there what you think or have experienced. And yes it is a 4WD, 2015 model.
Appreciate the support, I have learned a ton from you all. Thanks....
