XR 3037 HST Cab
I hit the hydro filter and dented the heck out of it, hope i ONLY BENT IT ENOUGH TO BREAK THE SEAL AND BLOW ALL THE FLUID OUT. Sorry for the caps, I ain't retyping it, GrAMMAR POLICE CAN BITE ME. Azzhats shouldn't even be here. I don't got no english major.

I took the cutter off no troubles. It is dark so I turned on the lights, put the headlight on and backed into it an inch at a time..... it is a pain in the azz to do any hookup with a cab.

Got it close, hooked up the hydro lines and all looked good.... Wound up somehow denting the hydro filter and bending it enough to spray all the fluid out.

I hope that is all I did. I hope I didn't bend the nipple that goes into the block.

54 hours, brand new fluid.... all in the ground and my hair.

Go ahead and dog me out, I'm prepared.

1st lesson learned. :)

I hear you. It's bad enough with a cab, but at night with a cab, that couldn't be much worse on conditions. A ground man is needed for such actions and some sunshine also to light the way.
Good luck in your repairs. Last October I was piling some limbs with my B 26 and pushing them high on a pile and somehow got a limb into the HST filter and broke the housing off and slightly bent the steel line attached. The housing was over $100 plus a new filter and oil and at least a half day under the tractor trying to get the bolts aligned with the slightly bent line attached. Finally found the proper pry point and got it fixed. It didn't help that it was cold and my fingers were numb and fumbly either.

Bent the HST filter enough to blow the seal. It also bent the bracket the filter housing and lines are attached too. Had to go buy a 4 ton floor jack, 6 tom jackstands, make a base out of 2x12 to set the stand on so it wouldn't sink into the dirt. Used a smaller jack and chunk of wood to bend the bracket sort of where it belongs.

New filter, 4 1/2 gallons fluid test run and no leaks. Used a helper to hook up the hoe and dug my first hole. Dodge a bullet on this one I think.

And now ready for work. It isn't chained down yet.

I have been lucky and just broke the tire rod tube twice, knocked turn signals off ,and busted fuel filter. I have the 3025 shuttle and agree the hydrogen filter isi n a bad spot

That fix has lasted so far, one small coolant leak I took care of myself and torn off both front top work lights and one of the replacement LED ones I replaced those with. My FEL is crooked and rubbing on the grill guard, need to loosen all the mounting bolts and realign it someday. This little machine has been pretty much bullet proof aside from my actions trying to destroy it. There is a pesky fuel pump issue where it keeps running after shutting down sometimes but I just pull the relay when it does it. I'll make the run to the dealer 75 miles away soon for a full checkup but nothing pressing enough to force me to stop working it.
