XR Series and 3rd Rear Remote

Does anyone have a factory 3rd rear remote? Dealer is saying that he doesn't think its available. Also do you know how much it cost to add it? Looking at a XR4155HC if that matters but I think all the XR models are basically the same.

You are not the first person to suggest this dealer position. I find it hard to believe that it's not available when there is clearly provision of space made for it. I haven't yet even used the two standard remotes, though, so I never asked.

Contact member Brian (Mtnviewranch). Maybe he can help you out with an aftermarket third remote kit. Pretty sure the factory kit is not available even though all the LS tractors have the spare remote holes for fittings.

Keep in mind that when adding that 3rd factory rear remote (total pain in the behind, and neck) you are throwing away the 2 that you currently have and buying 3 new ones due to LS uses a mono block control valve system. To be able to do this you need a dealer that is willing to take the time to do all the research required. So this is not a cheap or quick endeavor.

Way more cost effective to add a diverter system. I did a system 2 years ago where the guy ended up with 7 sets of rear remotes and a 3rd function on the loader. So 10 sets of outlets on his tractor. :shocked: I doubt that he ever actually used them all, but at least he had what he wanted. :thumbsup:

Ok guys after talking with a few dealers they are telling me that the 2017 XR4155's only will come standard with 3 rear remotes and also the ability to control the 3 point lift outside of the cab! Have not seen this in person yet but sure sounds nice.

My XR3135 has the control for the 3pt in the back, very nice to have!

2017. I think they started adding it towards the end of last year.

Yeah, I got my 3135 in September, and it doesn't have the outside control. Need to talk to my dealer about that. Sure would be handy.

Three remote and outside 3-point control are now standard on at least the XR4155’s. I’m looking into upgrading my XR4046HC to a new XR4155HC.
