2018 KIOTI CK3510SE CAB, 2475L BACKHOE, 72 BOX BLADE, 72 REAR BLADE, 72 LANDSCAPE RAKE, 1,250 LB 55 GAL DRUM BALLAST, 2018 FERRIS IS 700Z, 26HP 810 VANGUARD ENGINE
I stopped and looked some LS tractors and on the open station xr3037 the rear fenders were all metal. I looked at a lager LS cab tractor and noticed the rear fenders were plastic. Are the rear fenders on the xr3037 cab plastic also like the lager tractor or metal like the open station tractor. For anyone with plastic fenders..... Have you had any issues with them? They are kinda a turn off to me at this point.

Yes, The fenders are plastic.
I've had no issues with that yet but I don't have a lot of hours racked up on the tractor either.
I don't think it will be a problem since the tires stick out a little further than the fenders.
There is a possibility of damage from branches if you travel a lot in the woods. I'm more concerned about glass breakage than fender damage but I have insurance for that.

Do you get you insurance through your financing or home owners insurance?

Neither, I paid cash for tractor and got full coverage insurance through CNH.

No issues @ 170 hrs. I'd guess they use metal due to grab handles, extra stress during boarding. With the cab models fenders don't come into play. I know plastic is not good for everything but in this case I'm not sure it matters.

I do a lot of landscape work here on the farm and neighboring places.
Plastic bumper chips? Sure they're called character.
If it bothers me very much I'll just grab the bondo and shape it to fit.
If you want a perfect tractor, buy it and leave it in the barn, shed or showroom.

Get it dirty!
Just maintain it and it'll pay you back year after year
