I've kind of asked this question in another post but no real answer. Have any owners of these tractors had clearance issues off road. My tractor will be used in the woods, ditches, and some yard. I'm worried about 8" ground clearance off road and hanging up on the subframe. Anyone that goes into the ruts, ditches, over logs that can help would be appreciated or else I might have to get a 4100. And why the low subframe? Give up a couple hundred pounds of lift like the NH and give me the clearence....... Thanks guys

Welcome to TBN.................
I really can't help because I don't regularly do any work in the woods that would require higher ground clearance. 2 years ago was the last time my 3037 was in the woods doing some trail work for a friend. Fortunately I didn't get stuck. Its even worse if you have a back hoe sub frame. I added a Woods BH750 BH and the sub frame on that is another 2" lower.
I did post in another thread with pictures under my tractor and a tape measure showing the clearance for someone else that asked the same question. If you think 8" isn't enough you will have to go to a larger model or different brand.
I just looked at a pic Dstriplett posted of his new XR4145 and it doesn't look like his loader sub frame has any more clearance than mine. If it does I doubt its more than an inch higher. Here's his pic.
