XR4046 HC hydrostat problem

Today while my father was moving dirt he told me the forward reverse pedals werent returning to center. I thought maybe he had the cruise control on but he didnt. he continued running for abit then shut the machine down. I later went to check on it and now it wont even start. when you push either pedal there is no resistance to anything. I checked the fluid level and it was fine. Checked both hydro filters and they looked fine as well. has anyone heard of problems like this? i have 120hrs on the tractor.

Check for a weak or broken spring that returns the foward pedal to neutral. Mine got weak and would creep, finally broke before I found problem. Dealer told me he had others with same problem. Replaced it 80 hrs ago, no problems since.
