XR4150 Loader Damage?

Has this been an issue for anyone else? I wish I had a clue how I bent them but I really don't. I'm guessing while using my grapple a few weeks ago but I surely would have noticed it before now. I have recently used the auger for several holes but the most damage it to the side opposite the right offset. Dealer is trying to get me a price and availability to replace all four.

I'm not seeing any cracked paint or stress lines. How does the the bucket or grapple 'sit' when raised? Is there an angle to one side?

I would remove one and take it to a metal fabrication shop and have them make a set . Looks easy enough to replace by the diagram above

Several LS members have bent these dog bone shaped brackets /arms. They are a weak point that can bend from either back dragging with the bucket tilted too vertical or running into an immovable object such as trying to push a tree over with the bucket. There are many links, here's one I found.

I remember seeing another members replacement reinforced dog bones that had an extra vertical piece of heavy bar stock welded on for extra strength to prevent bending but couldn't find that link. If your loader is less than a year old they should be covered under warranty.

Its not just LS loaders, Mahindra and John Deere owners have bent the dog legs too. I think the loaders are made by Ameriquip but not sure.

No, they both sit square to the loader quick mount. George posted a link and it seems I'm not alone having this issue. Guess I'd rather have the "dog bones" bend than do mount or ram damage.

Correction... I should have said dog "leg" instead of bone which is more what they look like. I had just given my dogs some bones when I replied earlier.

Thanks for the pic, I'm sold on that idea. Dealer is going to send new ones and I'll have to make the mod. Anyone know the closest spray paint color offhand?

Why else would these parts consistently be manufactured and installed as an non-reinforced bar of steel?

My 300CX has the same non-reinforced bars.

I know what you mean, by beefing it up I kinda feel like I'm putting in a bigger fuse

My local farm and home store carries a "Ford Blue" tractor paint. Is that the closest to LS blue? They also carry a New Holland blue.

I think there is several options for "close" blue colors out there but i do not think Ford blue or New Holland is the closest.

I've seen other use these options with successful results.

Rust-Oleum Sail blue (very close)
Krylon Safety blue
NAPA custom mixed spray cans. (if you NAPA has a paint department, they can make an exact match)
