I see on ebaY an aftermarket clutch to replace AM141536 for about $135 from a Boca Raton FL retailer called Xtreme Mower Clutches. It's listed as having upgraded high temperature (and replacable) bearings.

Searching the company name doesn't bring back any information, reviews etc. on the web so I'm wondering if anybody here has any experience with this seller, good or bad?

Thanks for the responses guys, I did buy one late in the fall but haven't yet installed it. I didn't realize the product was so new to the market when I asked about it originally. I was hoping for some longer-term feedback from anyone who may have already installed and accumulated some in-service hours on the clutch. Perhaps I'll be first!

i just ordered one for my wright stander RH mower. This will be the second clutch that I will have put on the machine. The first time the dealer did it. Second time I started having problem with the blades disengaging after mowing for a few minutes. My mechanic friend diagnosed a bad clutch, took it off and one of the wires had broken off right where it exited the clutch. He cut into it soldered the wire than used GB weld or something to reinforce his connection. Cost me 200 dollars for the labor and diagnosis and fix, I was happy because it beat the $300.00 cost for a new clutch. It only lasted about a month and now the black wire broke. ( i dont know why he didnt put the JB weld on both wires.) Anyways looking on line I found at Ebay the Xtreme mower clutch dealer , for $198.00 plus free shipping I have a new clutch on the way. From the description of extreme mower clutches they sound as if they are built alot more durable than the Warner clutch it is replacing. The wires are protected with triple protection waterproof covering where they come out of the clutch, other highlights include stainless steel rivets ,high temperature bearings, machined billet pulleys, and an "xtremely cool coil which claims to keep the clutch at 175 degrees compared to 220 degrees of other clutches. The description has me sold and I really hope it meets my expectations compared to its claims. This is the last time I want to replace this clutch and I will be changing the wrapped hydro belt right above it as well so I dont have to get under this mower for a long time
