My XUV has been in the shop for over a week now.
The problem was that it would lose power while under load.
If we attempted to go fast or climb a small incline she would bog down.

Gas is good, new fuel filter and problem is still present.

When it is 1st cranked it runs perfect. I can go across the yard fine.
If I attempt to accelerate she bogs down like there is no gas.
Turn it off and restart and it runs perfect again.

The JD mechanic ran the test on it and it came back with code 24. (speed sensor). They replaced it and still the same problem. We traced all the wiring for the sensor and it looks perfect. So we replaced the computer and we still have the problem..

Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

get a carberator.lol na just jokin. how much power you losin. i would say it's a oxygen sensor maybe. that's one reason i stay way from them eletronics i much rather my carberator. is there a rev limiter on there any place??

I'm not sure if they have a rev limiter. The speed sensor is by the rear axle.

Hmmm oxygen sensor could be worth trying.

Seems JD doesn't want to try some stuff without a d-tac. (whatever that is)

is it the engine itself that is bogging down ?it does it while you rev it up in neutral?or does it run fine while your pumping the pedal while sitting in naetral? i know when i run in the mud alot and i do i get some mud inside of my brake pads and when i run down the road it gives me a binding feeling like when i would be pulling a load but i ain't. so what i do is go home pressure wash the pads out really good and then hit them with wd40 . don't worry the brakes still work after.lol but the bogging down feeling is gone till after you go mudding again and the mud gets clogged again. but that d-tac thing i don't know what that is.they wouldn't tell you what it was?

Its the engine. Sounds exactley like it runs out of fuel.
Turn the switch off and back on and it runs perfect again..

how's the fuel filter.sounds like the problem them rhinos have with the dirty tanks huh.i had A nissan pickup that would do that and it was a shorted out wire going to the fuel pump.the way i solved that problem was i ran a wire directly to it and then to a switch in the ignition that came on with the key on. and it never gave me a problem again. do you check the voltage going to the fuel pump when this is happening? it could be cutting off.

you didn't do any chip modifying did you(it's still the stock chip in it right)? did they check the computer board to see if it has a short in it?

Fuel Pump? I heard of a tractor doing this once, and it had a rag in the tank. JC
