Hey Dozernut.. i own a Rhino.. I traded in my Kawasaki Prairie 4 wheeler for it.. I had and have been reading reviews on this machine for several months before i ended up buying mine a couple of days before thanksgiving.
I was concerned that it wouldn't do what all the write-ups would say it would, and go where ATV's could go.
Since purchasing this beast of an offroad machine.. I can say without a doubt it will go will 4wheelers will go, and even places they wont. The engine sits between the two seats, which is centered between all 4 wheels giving it a center of gravity that is unbelievable. On normal off cambered hills, an ATV would feel like its going to topple without leaning into the hill. Same for turning sharply.. you have to lean.. The Rhino does all this and NEVER feels top heavy. As for climbing, this thing is a beast.. i have yet to find a hill that it doesn't climb effortlessly.. Every hill climbed so far the Rhino has said,"is that all you can find?".. Today, i was riding and a few hills are dang near verticle.. if it weren't for the first few feet being at a slight angle, the whole hill would be verticle. There were all types of vehicles out there.. jeeps, trucks, ATV's, motorcycles and only one Rhino.. The Rhino was the only one that would climb it.. Now mind you, its limitations are only what the rider is inclined to do.. I'm sure some other vehicles could have made it, they just chose not to.. it is a pretty intimidating hill side.. 2 jeeps tried, and they couldn't make it..
The Rhino is everything i've read about and more.. I would buy another one if i needed too. I am totally thrilled with mine, and would recommend this machine to anyone in the market for this type of vehicle.
