Not to rain on your parade, but...
We have 3 of the Viking 6 seaters at work, used hard daily on right-of-way and well pad jobs. One, about a year old, with 1500 miles, is down for the count. Hole in the motor case, I speculate that something inside backed off/got loose and wore the hole from the inside to out, no way its damage by operation/impact/knocked in. Motor is currently out and at the dealer for repair.

No rain here as that 700 single is tried and true, must have been a fluke...
Looks great, I hope to add the 27's also when these wear out. Only mods on mine so far are the 1" coil spacers so far and the 5000 Bad Lands winch.

I regret not getting the chance to open it up and make the repairs ourselves, but the boss sent it back to the dealer. I agree, likely a fluke incident. The other two are holding up well to the abuse the guys using them dish out.

The only knock I have heard on the new Vikings;they will in cold weather and pushed hard will blow out the oil dip stick and blow the oil out.Not good if you don't notice and run it dry.My BIL has a 2015 and snow plows with it and discovered this problem.Haven't had it happen to me yet but mine is kept in a heated garage and I don't snow plow with it.
