Thats not Yank, your midwest (imo). You are a Yank when you are from up Nawth.

Apex is a good area. Visit The Tractor Place in Knightdale NC and look at Kiotis. I was looking at a 1025R, but couldnt justify the extra $5K over my CS2410.

Welcome from up the road... did you get to the farm show last week? It's over now but is a great place to check out ALL the different tractors in one location. https://southernshows.com/sfs

No I haven't been to one in years.. A co-worker told me about that one but I lost track of dates. At this point I've pretty much sold myself on the 1026/1025.

This weekend I want to see if I can find a similarly outfitted MF GC1720 but I have a feeling I won't be changing my mind.
The 102*Rs just fit me well and I like the way the front hydraulic control arm is mounted on the fender. That said, it looks like the GC1720's backhoe operator station is more roomy.. hmm

30 plus years ago I helped a friend move to Tucson from Cleveland in the month of March. I left Cleveland that day and it was typical filthy streets, cold, rainy dreary, etc. I arrived in Tucson a few days later to Clear blue sky temps in the 80's and I felt like I could reach up and touch the stars. That was it for me, I went back home, quit my job and moved out to Tucson with a few shirts and a few pair of pants, and little money.
Never regretted a day of it. Went back once for a family visit and it seemed even more dreary when I arrived. That day I realized I would never be back even for a visit.
Sure, I had to put up with temps over 100, but no smog, no filthy streets, no rain every weekend, snow, sleet, etc.
Every place has it's good and bad points, glad you found a new home.
