Yanmar 1401d What is it worth

The tractor im looking at has about 550 hours and the man who owns it put on about 100 hours in the last 6 years that he had it. I dont think it is vn referb but who knows. It looks, runs and appears to be ok. Roll the dice i guess.

But keep in mind that there is 2 VN dealers here in SC and if i go in wanting to buy a loader and they have one, they will sell it to me regardless of my tractor. I could mount it on a JD if i wanted to, so it is possible for one to have been sold to someone who got an original yanmar out of the crate 15 yrs ago and wanted a loader.

id say buy it if hes put those hours on it and its at 500 i would not worry to much anyway thats a good price. The mower like said before is worth 400-500 at least.

Well. Just got back from a second test drive. Everything ok except the thermostat needs replaced but has new battery. She is all mine now. Ill pick it up tomorrow. Like a kid with a new toy. Ha Ha.

Really. How can you tell or what makes you think that. I dont think so. Everything is clean, fits togather well and seems to work as it should.

From my experience this doesn't appear to be a VN reconditioned tractor. In the photos I can see the factory 2pt mount. I normally see those removed on the VN tractors. The tractor overall seems like a well taken care of tractor vs a complete recondition.

You'll never know the actual hours since it only has a 3 digit meter, but it looks like a good tractor. We have a few in stock and they are very good tractors.
