I finally have the Arc 550 loader installed and it works well. New tubing and hoses, valve, bushings and rebuilt cylinders. Thanks to all for the great advice on this forum. Forgive the color, but I,ve always liked green. deans

Hi, I see you have the same typw of seat that I just got and am trying to mount on my 155d.
I have a bit of an issue. Once I set the two seat brackets to fit the rod on the tractor I was able to set the seat on. However, when I flip the seat back, on the left side it hit the fender, and on the right side, (looking forward) the seat hits on the 3 point hitch lever. At the point it is hitting the lever, there is still about 3-4” between the bottom of the seat and the base of the bracket mounted on the tractor. I see that the old seat has two rubber ‘shocks’ that actually are what connect between the bracket on the tractor and the underside of the seat.
I see from the image of your tractor, the seat seems to be all the way down and in place, and there is still space between it and the 3pt hitch lever.
deans, I am going to see a yanmar 155D, but it isn't restored like yours. Its several hours away, so I'm trying to find as much info as possible. I'm having trouble seeing the size of the tractor. Is this like a large garden tractor, or bigger than that? How big is the loader? Do you use a rototiller and if so, how does it work? thanks, Jenni
Thanks guys. Scotty D, that did help. I think its a small SCUT, not a lawn and garden tractor, but still pretty close. The new Husky garden tractor I looked at was huge compared to my 26hp Craftsman mower, so things are getting bigger anyways. I'll post pics if I get it
I replaced a Craftsman GT. also, Garden Tractor. It was rated about the same Hp. but It wouldn't hold up to the use. I was replacing Spindles, Bearing And wore and replaced the Deck out in a few Yrs.. I new what I was going to look at but never actually used a SCUT. A 05. JD. But it's to big for my needs on this Property. And I won't take back in my Woods. I left a Chk. with the Yanmar dealer until I could get back in a few days with the trailer. What was really apparent was how effortless It worked compared to the Craftsman. And then a few yrs. later there was a problem with the way Craftsman rated the Hp. on the Motors. If that is A older Mower get ready for a major difference.
