yanmar 1700 burning alot of oil

I know ur not talking to me Doc, but I was running rotella. This change I'm using dello. I was putting 50 hrs a year on but the last year I only put like 30 hrs on. I could not tell there was anything used. Maybe 1/8 inch but I don't remember exactly where it was a year earlier.

This is with bush hogging knees deep fields several times a summer, dialing an acre and a half at least once a year. And running a 6 ft finish mower a few times a year in super overgrown yard grass at the farm property.

I think a lot of guys use dello also may be one is easier to get in some places I dont know?

That should be disking not dialing. Stupid auto correct.

I have had my YM1500 since April 2008. I change the oil each Spring. I have a 4-foot tiller and a 4-foot bush hog. I have never had to add oil between changes. My oil level is always at full on the stick. I use Rotella 15-40.
