Howdy,
I picked up a Yanmar 2-pt tiller in good condition and plan to use it with my Iseki TS 1610F tractor. Only trouble is it has a 16 spline shaft that measures about 1.175-in. outside splines (compared to the standard 1-3/8" 6-spline shaft on the tractor). My question is: is there an adapter out there to convert this to 1-3/8"? It did come with a short two u-joint coupler w/ intermediate piece that converts one to the other but I am going to modify this tiller to 3-pt. Of course the two u-joints would make the PTO shaft flop around. If there is no adapter available maybe I can remove the intermediate joint in this coupler (press out the pins) and connect the two different splined end pieces together? How about all the needles in there? Thanks in advance,
